Academy Award winning actor Forest Whitaker and I have some friends in common. During the filming of The Last King of Scotland, he visited Hope North in Uganda. The school was founded by Sam Okello. Sam is one of the Ugandan co-stars of the movie. Forest Whitaker has given generously and modestly to my friends in Uganda who are helping others less fortunate. I had the pleasure of presenting him with artwork by Fred Mutebi and some students from Hope North.
